Welcome to the Valley.

Discover a continent sealed off by cliffs on every side; where city states have no agreed-upon laws, each convinced they’ve figured out the right way to live, and each willing to go to war over it.

That’s the Valley.

Its newspapers report on papal flooding, feudal wars, street races, and sea monsters — all in the same column. Scholars publish papers arguing about what’s driving northern wildlife insane while politicians launder money through a council that governs nothing. The strong write the rules, the clever bend them, and the rest learn to keep their heads down enough not to lose them. A teacher gets applauded for advocating violence against a mayor whose only crime was showing up, while a fisherman sells you crayfish soup and pretends the city next door isn't auctioning children.

There are no fairy tales in the Valley. Only people.
Not all who enter survive. Those who do are never the same.
Flawed, dangerous, occasionally kind, doing what they believe is right.

A young girl stands on a street watching a blimp drop explosives on the town below, with buildings on both sides, debris, and a chaotic, dramatic scene with people running around.
The cover for the book 'Tales of the Valley Terminus' showing a young woman with long wavy hair and an older man with gray hair and beard facing each other against a fiery, burning city background with a tall tower topped by a tree.
Night scene of a large stone gate with two towers, mountains in the background, and a full moon in the sky. People, horses, and carts are gathered in front of the gate, with a grand Oriental or Japanese style building visible through the archway.
